I think she told Howard Stern that she was hooked on anti-depressants like Xanax and pain meds so she almost died and had to go on methadone. Sadly it is curious that her son Daniel died of methadone and anti-depressants. Everyone who knew him says he wasn't hooked on drugs. So what REALLY happened in the Bahamas? ;(

She will probably be involved in court battles and investigations for a while, so I'm sure she is trying to clean up. Also it's not good to be addicted with a new baby.

Methadone is used to treat heroin addiction, so maybe that's why.
