1. A pentagon has a perimeter not a circumference!
2. A pentagon’s side, depending upon whether it is formed inside or outside of a circle, could be considered either as a chord of a sector or a tangent of the circle!
3. Each sector that forms each side of a pentagon is 72 degrees (360/5) = 72
4. So, in order to find the perimeter of a pentagon you need to find first the length of a 72 degrees chord or a 72 degrees tangent; when you find either of those values, you multiple by five and you get the length of the pentagon’s perimeter. What I am trying to tell you here is that your question is not complete because you do not furnish the needed data in order for someone to help you.

The pentagon is a pentagon, not a circle so it has no circumference. It does have a perimeter though.

Circumference refers to the perimeter of a circle or a square, but not a pentagon. is there a circle inside of the pentagon in which you speak? if so, then us a compass to find the radius of the circle and compare the radius to the sides of the pentagon.then multiply the radious of the circle by pi. so circumference=radiousX*Pi
*remember pi is about 3.14
