I absolutely LOVE this game. I've played it for over 300 hours. Here's my review from Amazon:

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one of the most amazing RPGs ever to be conceived. Right now, it is the best RPG for Xbox. First, the graphics are absolutely amazing. You can walk for hours admiring the scenery and discovering new places in the miles and miles of wilderness and mountains. On my HDTV the graphics are so sharp and defined it almost seems like I am in the game, and I'm not just saying that. Second, the controlls are easy to master and there is an extremely helpful system of "bookmarking" items and pressing the arrow keys to get to them. I only say bookmark because I can't remember the term they used. You can bookmark anything from spells, to potions, to weapons and access them with a click of an arrow key. Third, the gameplay is just simply amazing and addictive. There are thousands and thousands of different NPCs that each have real voice acting and different skin tones, hair, and facial details. First, you must choose what race you are, from an Argonian ( reptile man ) to a Khajiit ( cat man ) to a Dark Elf or just a normal Imperial. You then choose the gender, your class (major and minor skills), and birthsign. You do all of this in your first mission that is escaping the Imperial Prison and finding your way out of the sewers. You are then given the option of following the main quest, or venturing off to do whatever you want. There are dozens, maybe hundreds of side quests that are extremely fun and range from the standard dungeon crawl to being transported inside someone's dream, to being sucked into a painting to retrieve a special paint brush. If instruction isn't your thing you can spend hours roving the woods killing packs of bandits or finding rare herbs and plants to add to your alchemical collection. One of my favorite parts of the game are the guilds. There are four major guilds, The Fighter's Guild, which is a standard dungeon crawling guild, The Mage's Guild, where you'll be able to buy new spells and fight against the sinister Necromancers, The Thieves Guild, (my second favorite guild) where you steal various items in return for money and new missions. My favorite guild is The Dark Brotherhood. The Dark Brotherhood is a guild of assassins who kill for money. The missions in the Dark Brotherhood are some of the most fun quests in the game. They are all different from the standard dungeon crawling quests, and range from faking a man's death to killing a house full of party guests. You can do almost anything you want in the game, and the Xbox Live feature is great so the game can always be changed and updated. Downsides to the game are that it sometimes freezes up and the loading times are very long. Very small flaws in an amazing game. Simply one of the best games ever.

If you were too lazy to read all that, I made a list of Pros and Cons:

Pros:

-Amazing graphics

-Controlls are simple and easy to master

-Immersive and addictive gameplay

-Hundreds of side quests

-Miles and miles of land to explore

-Beautiful scenery

-Thousands of different, interactive NPCs

-Nice voice acting

Cons:

-Long loading times

-Sometimes freezes up

Overall, one of the best games I have ever played. Completely immersive and addictive, extremely fun gameplay, with few downsides.

Yes, that is my review, I did NOT steal it.

Hope it helps.

I like the game for the abitlity to design all aspects of your character. Then the freedom of the game to do what you want, it's not linear like most games where you have to do certain missions to advance the next level. You can go from thieving, to story line whenever you want. The graphix are great, quite an improvement over The elder scrolls. I am talking about the 360 version, not computer.

I've never played this game. But seeing all the reviews from the people above i feel inpirated to go out and buy it when it comes out on PS3. it also comes out for the PSP. Here's a review from gamespot.com, they gave it a 9.6/10. Its still the highest rated game since it debuted March 20, 2006.

"Huge, lavishly detailed world offers tremendous amount of action and adventure; main mechanics like combat, stealth, and magic are fun and well designed; impressive artificial intelligence and hundreds of believable characters; outstanding symphonic score, as well as excellent voice acting and sound effects; tremendous replay value, plus gorgeous graphics to make it easy on the eyes. "

I WANT THIS GAME!!!

All varieties of concerns ensue on your concepts consistently and your now no longer attentive to it, a concepts could be very smart. dying is a daunting concept for many persons, if your approximately to die and you already are conscious of it your concepts ought to consequence in a hallucination that might assist you handle the trauma, i sort of want this is this thinking the thought of my very final concept being of information i'm approximately to kick it sucks, or it would in basic terms be the oxygen deprivation others have pronounced of their ideas. As for the being equivalent, the storys are known, i might heard maximum of them as a small infant, seeing lost kin, a white calming gentle etc, those are classic among us and services to be the hallucination script. Oblivion > all. but it can get EXTREMELY buggy if you mess with mods too much and it takes a good computer.
