On Monday I'll be 29 weeks and I am tired ALL the time!! This is my first baby and my doctor says it's completely normal. I still see my doctor each month and take my vitamins. I can't take regular prenatal vitamins as they have too much iron in them and cause my gall bladder to flare up. My doctor recommended that Flinstone's work just as good. They still have all the folic acid that I need, but don't have as much iron. But back to the question, Yes it is perfectly fine that you are this tired!!

Its very normal to feel exhausted. Im now 32wks pregnant i felt tired throughout most of it. Alot of times too i actually felt great though. As u get further along into the third trimester you might start to feel worse though because your body starts to burn more calories because of the baby weight and because of lower iron levels.
If your that concerned try an iron supplement which can always help. A pregnant woman needs double the iron requirements while pregnant to help with the blood supply for her and the baby. If you dont have enough iron at the time u give birth u can get anaemia if your haemoglobin is too low. Try taking an iron supplement and always drink a glass of orange juice with it. (vitamin c activates iron in the blood stream).
Be careful of the dosage though, too much iron can cause constipation.
Go to your doctor, he can recommend the best supplement for you. Also if you have any other niggly problems u can always ask him/her about it.
GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATULATIONS

Yes it is normal for you to be tired at 28 weeks. Your body is constantly changing and the baby gets all the attention, even from your body. It uses a lot of what you would normally need and more to keep the baby healthy. This ultimately cause your body to get tired, because you are technically giving a lot of yourself to sustain the growing baby. Congratulations and God Bless.

I'm at 25 week and a trip to the store leaves me exhausted. I'm high risk I'm not sure if that would make a diff but my doctor said it's to be expected and that I should just take little naps during the day.

Totally normal. DO NOT try to fix it with caffeine or other stimulants. Just keep eating healthy and try to excercise every day. A 20-30 min walk will make a world of difference.

fatigue is totally normal in pregnancy! But if you are concerned, then i would suggest going to the doctor and requesting a blood test to check your iron level. Usually Iron deficiency happens when you are further along in your pregnancy and it does cause you to feel tired all the time.

Could be that all is okay but are you taking vitamins? I think you should go see the doctor if you are excessively tired and get prenatal vitamins if you are not already on them. Good luck!
