Nothing, yet. Look at their past 3 years starts (3-6-1 2006, 4-5-1 2005, 5-4-0-1 2004) and this appears to be normal. They do not jump out to a quick start. Remember last year when the Canucks jumped out to a very impressive start, and failed to make the playoffs? Or the Oilers and their 7 game losing streak? I think it is too soon to worry. Let them work out their struggles over the next 2 weeks (7 games) and I predict they'll be over .500 and back in a playoff spot.

They don't have enough scoring weapons. They're goalie (Kiprusoff) is probably the best, and their D is good with Phaneuf and Regehr (very underrated D-man), but they don't have a great scoring attack. Besides for Iginla, and Tanguay, they really don't have much else. Huselius? Langkow? Lombardi? I'm not sure those type of players can be premier scorers in this league. Plus, it seems like Iginla and Tanguay need someone else alongside of them (someone to set them up). Tanguay had Sakic and Hedjuk in Colorado. Iginla had Savard and Conroy before. If they can make a move to get someone, then they should do better.

This isn't a new question for the Flames. It's been obvious since last year they can't score. Iginla's #'s have been down because he has no support. They brought Tanguay in to help, so we'll see.

They need to score more. You cant win without goals and you have to relie heavily on your goalie and if he is not totally shap every single game then the team will loose because they dont have enough goals.
Kipper is good and that is waht kept them alive last year because they didnt have many goals and most of their games were extremely low score games.

Don't forget they have a new coach, Jim Playfair. It takes a while for a team to mesh with its coach, especially when he's replacing a great coach like Sutter. So try to relax. There's plenty of time left in the season.
