It's Halloween and horror movies are inevitable at this time of year. I've always been a big fan of horror movies because they are intriguing and exciting to watch. However, I'm scared silly after watching them. My boyfriend and I are going to watch Saw III this Friday, and I'm a fan of the Saw series, but I'm not looking forward to the many sleepless nights that I feel will follow. Is there anything I can do (or say to myself) so I that I won't be so scared after watching? Thanks in advance :]

Sleep with the lights on and pull the sheets over your head! That's what I do.

Laugh about it . years ago at a midnight showing of King Kong the owner of the theater tolk us behind the screen and it was like being in the movie . I was able to walk up to Kong and touch him . [ as a footnote to this we were in a very highly altered state of mind ] It was a weird experience and we came out from behind laughing and couldn't stop for quite a while after the movie ended and still laugh about it now

I would sleep with lights on or maybe just watch the movie in the weekend afternoon so by night time I would at least forget some.
Sometimes I let my cat to sleep with me and somehow that takes away my fear :)
