Holidays are all about celebration, so what is your favorite and why?

I like the holidays from Halloween to New Year's Day and everthing in between.

Christmas, because it seems to last for a whole month. Lots of visiting, lots of Friends and family, lots of good food, lots of conversation, lots of reminiscing, lots of gift giving......
I love to give gifts, especially gift from the heart! I love seeing my daughter (an only child) open her gifts and smile! I also love to decorate my house for the season, if I were a wealthy person, I would have a Christmas room all year, as it turns out, I don't have an extra room to do that now......It seems to bring out the best in people.
I also love to get up at 4am the day after Thanksgiving and shop with my daughter and my mom and cousins....We make a whole day of it.

I guess I like all of them...Halloween used to be my favorite until everyone around he basically stopped doing it.
Every place we went there were only about 25 trick-or-treaters and I kept getting shrugged off as being too old.

It's probably Christmas now.

New Year holidays are the best for me as many people are taking a rest and I can see them.

My favorite is Halloween.
You get to dress up and be someone / something else for a day. Its fun to see what others have come up with for a costume too.
