i hurt my knee five and three years ago after the three year ago one it healed but my knee started to hurt when i get my period like my back hurts. Now three years later it hurts real bad for two days now cuz the weather the doc said but i dont think it is that he said i hurt behind the knee when i hurt it am i wrong to think different do you guys have any ideas?

you could have inflamed the tissue,step the wrong way or even twisted in your sleep..If weather is agitating it may be some arthritis..Try some aleve and to stay off it,becareful not to overload the other knee or it will bother you soon..

you could have damaged the menucus. The main cartlige behind your knee. I did that almost 2 yrs ago a good antiflammatory should ease the pain and swelling if you have any. Or you could have arthritis

go see another doctor for a second opinion, and get your knee examined just to make u feel at ease before u start taking any medication for it get that second opinion

when my back starts hurting real bad and then my bones I know we are due for rain, snow or very cold weather when you injure something severly its normal to hurt good luck hope you feel better
