All lot of it has to do with Politics. People can not separate the Government and the people. A lot of people hate President Bush so a lot of people hate Americans.
I've traveled to a lot of countries. I have noticed that there are just as many *** holes in France, England, China, Brazil and India as the U.S. Except Thailand. Everybody in Thailand was pleasant.

1. America is powerful.
2. US foreign policy is different then others.
3. We waste alot.
4. We have too much.
5. We have all the comforts.
6. We earn more then others.
7. We have pride.
8. We support our own.
9. We try to impose our beliefs to others.
10. The strong is always hated.

Because some of the policies appear uncivillised and barbaric! What century are we in now, we've come a long way with history and education guiding us on how to achieve things, but storming into something like a bull is just plain "unclassy"

i don't think they hate or mistrust us they are just jealous and scared! i bet those who mistrust us will be offered to live in the usa they will be more than happy to comply and those who hate us is the same if they live in another country and if they are living here they still live here and won't leave!! U.S.of A THE BEST AND WONDERFUL COUNTRY TO BE.....BLESS AND LOVE IT!

because we are killing people and invading countries in support of capitalist globilization policies that benefit NONE of the common people .. not even in the united states but it may come as a surprize to you that many people of other countries are actually more informed about what is going on in the world than the majority of US citizens ...
