Do you know how to make it so on a hotmail email, when you send an email, your last name won't appear in the from category? Thank you. I can't figure this one out.

If you are using Outlook Express 6, go to Tools>Accounts>Properties. Change user name to how you wish it to appear. Click OK, Close.

I'm not too sure if you're asking this question in the right forum because you're not going to find too many hotmail users here who have the experience to guide you correctly.

May I suggest that you try the MSN support Forums?

http://www.support-forums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=28 might be a better place to ask at.

All the best.

Cheers.

When you're at the main screen, with all your messages and stuff, go to options. (It's in the top right corner.) Then goto my profile. Change the name here, and it will change the name that shows up on your messages.

Yes, go into the settings category and change what will be displayed.

For example JoeSmith@cty.com
to
SomethingElse@cty.com
