Just wondering if 5 or 6 Always Maxi Overnights is too many pads to be using in an hour. I soak thru them even after using so many. I am 36 and this happens during every monthly cycle.

Sounds like it, yeah. Do you happen to know what your hemoglobin is? Although if you have such heavy periods every month they probably do not represent anything scary causing heavy bleeding, the blood loss by itself is probably not ideal. I would not be surprised if you were quite anemic all the time, and I hope that you're getting enough iron to replace the blood that you're loosing.
See your Ob/Gyn about your periods and get some basic labs including a CBC (complete blood count) just to make sure your body is keeping up with the blood loss.

It might be. Is it only on the first day of your period? Do you have a period that lasts only 3 or 4 days? If so then your probably fine. I had the same symptoms and doctor says its normal.

That's way too many pads. You may have a condition. I don't know the name of it but I've heard of women bleeding a lot like that, and it's not normal. You should see a doctor.

YES; YOU OBVIOUSLY IS HAVING SOME FEMALE PROBLEMS THAT ARE VERY ABNORMAL; YOU ARE HAVING ABNORMAL VAGINAL BLEEDING THAT COULD BE CAUSED BY SOME ABNORMAL CHANGES WITH UTERUS AND OVARIES; I HAVE SEEN WHERE HYSTERECTOMY HAS BEEN DONE AT EARLY AGE TO PREVENT THIS PROBLEM; OTHERWISE YOUR BLOOD COUNT AND HEMOGLOBIN WILL DROP AND YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS

That sound like an awful lot.

You need to see your physician or GYN about this. Please don't wait any longer to do so.
