Kids Halloween party is over..... some of the kids found a permanent black marker and had a ball with it. These are 3 to 5 year olds so the markings are all over the house.

How do I remove permanent black marker from a wooden surface without damaging the wood? ( antique walnut ) Also, refrigerator, wall paper, plastic air purifier and just about every surface!!!
I have tried fingernail polish remover on the refrigerator, it only dims the color. De-natured alcohol does no better. Is there some product that will remove the marks off several surfaces?

To idiots like CNS! Kids play! simply enough! as any "parent" will say.

I got what I deserved? Are you stupid or unable to read? If you read the question at all then you should see that the child/children "found" the marker! and was NOT given to them!!

The question was "how to remove permanent marker" not how to belittle a parent for giving a supervised halloween party to 3 year olds!

i have 3 suggestions...
mr.clean magic eraser,de-solve it, and goof off.
mr.cleans are cheep, and easy to get most everywhere.
de-solve-it and goof off are sometimes a little harder to find,
for the most part in-expensive....they do a great job. it may be the citrus oil in it.....hope these help...
and to whom ever wrote "you deserve it" must not have children!!! things happen!!!

Besides Goof-Off, you might want to try an extra-fine 000 steel wool on the wood piece. Beware of using Goof-Off on certain plastics. It will cause it to lose its shine from the acidic chemical reaction. As for the damaged wallpaper, that will have to be stripped and replaced--if you have some matching paper left over. Good luck!

My question is, Where were all of the adults during this party ? How could that much damage get done? And why were they given Permanent Markers to begin with ? I think you got just what you deserve. Sorry I'm of no help to you.

Try a small amount of WD-40 on a rag and wipe away.

Lysol sometimes works. But there is a product called "Goof Off" that may do it too.
