You are a S-M-A-R-T- lady, don't stray from your path and you will have a much better life than your friends that are in too big a hurry.

It is absolutely normal, but usually should be in hindsight. As a high school age person, it's usually easy to be subject to the notion that the relationships that you are in at the time are serious long term connections that will stand the test of time. But that is hardly the case. High school relationships, mostly because of the still evolving mental state of those involved, tend to be pretty volatile. They can be some of the greatest fun at the beginning, but the fire that burns twice as bright burns half as fast. You're smart not to let your enfatuations be confused with the real thing yet. There's a lotta life after high school. Save yourself frustration and just have you some fun. But not too much.

The idiots that ask what's wrong with you, I suggest you ask them why they are so needy they have to have someone. There is nothing wrong with you, in fact, you are probably pretty smart. And no, it is not abnormal to not have a boyfriend at any time in your life. Intelligent, confident, self-sufficient women that are not needy and desperate don't "need" a man. They will have a man in their life if he has proven himself to be good for her, otherwise, she chooses not to have one.
