I agree. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon because of his latest streak. Guess what? He's had these "passing" streaks before and they don't last! He will soon return to the old Mike Vick.

8.3 yds per carry isnt that serious??? What r u talking about. U wanna talk bout Vick not being a pure passer go ahead but u wanna say that Randall Cunningham was a better scrambling qb than him ur just plain jeleaous of him. Vick is a great athlete that has been showing of lately his potential when his offense allows him to pass. Nobody ever said he was the best qb in da league. He's great athlete and a qb that helps his team win, nuthin overrated about that.

I think Michael Vick is not only the most overrated quarterback, but the most overrated player in the NFL. He is an amazing athlete and lethal when he runs... but he's only a mediocre passer. I must admit, his passing has improved. But 1 or 2 good games is nothing to base an opinion on.

You can not be a pocket passer without an offensive line. Most team who draft running QB's is because they have no offensive line. Since they run all the time they never learn how to pass the ball. Running is only a threat if you can pass when you have to.
Everyone talks about the hail Mary pass roger staubach Threw against The vikings . But few people remember the play before was 4th down and 28 and he converted for the first.
If his blocking can hold up he will get better. If his line can not block he will be back to his olded ways.

the nfl recreation isn't geared up for working quarterbacks like mike vick... he's in basic terms too distinctive to be a sturdy extra wholesome for their west coast offense or incredibly a lot any professional offense. he's overvalued in basic terms using fact he's in a device the place it incredibly is not any longer common for him to offer and make the type of performs like he did at virginia tech. he's overvalued as a typical throw-first professional qb yet no longer as an athlete. vince youthful will in all probability locate himself in a similar problem.. however the falcons are fortunate b/c matt schaub is by capacity of a few distance the terrific backup interior the nfl and that they gets alot for him as quickly as he's a loose agent after this year. little question he would be traded, optimistically for a useful reciever to take some slack off alge crumpler. yet shaub has shown he can carry the load while vick gets injured and could in all probability finally end up beginning a minimum of a few video games this season.

I hate Mike Vick and the Falcons everybody likes him but nobody likes the Falcons it pisses me off. At school 20% of the kids there have Vick jerseys but not one of them can name another player on the team. Maybe 1 or 2 can name Alge Crumpler but only rarely does that happen.

I give credit for Randall Cunningham. Randall never got his team to the super bowl. Mike has an chance to go to the super bowl this season. if u seem last his last couple of game his passing rating is going up, his passing yards is up, and his rushing yards is going down. He won three straight of the last 4 games

Yeah he is. I agree that he's a decent passer at best. He's good right now but sooner or later he will go back to throwing picks, fumbling, and getting sacked. Maybe another game against the Bucs.

I agree. It seems that the better you are at running the ball, that there's less chance of having a great arm. Running all over the field is for the wide receivers and the running backs.
