I'm so freaking upset when I read he had said that....
whole story to those who dont understand...
John Kerry the Mass. Senator made a statement while talking to some college students in California.
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
That is so insulting to me and all of my friends and family serving in the military.

It is indeed troop bashing but why would anyone be surprised. Hanoi John has been doing this to U S Troops for 40 years or more.
Dems/Libs can shout forever that they are Anti Bush and not Anti Troops. Well that is just another Dem/Lib lie. They were Anti Troops in 1968 and they are still Anti Troops in 2006.
Can you just imagine the absolute glee our enemies must be experiencing after Kerry opened his mouth. In the last Presidential election North Vietnam leaders confirmed that Kerry's comments and others of like nature encouraged them to prolong the war and they used Kerry's comments to demoralize our already demoralized POWs.
It is a shame!! A huge shame!!

Of course Kerry is bashing our Armed Forces. He's been doing it for over thirty years. I can't imagine why anyone was surprised. When all the 1960's wealthy flower children were running around screaming about the Vietnam War, many of the little brats said, "Only the poor and ignorant serve in America's wars." My baby brother was in Vietnam at the time!
Now, those 60's and 70's flower children have grown old and gray, and they look around to see they are abject failures. America has always been saved by the brave, so that fools like Kerry and the Clintons and Nancy Pilosi and Ted Kennedy and all the rest, can spew their anti-American hatred.

John Kerry has been spewing rhetoric and lies since his infamous appearance before the Congressional Hearings in 1967.
And the Democrats have been trying in vane to put a positive spin on his statements ever since - but he just keeps coming up with more.
His positions are clear - he doesn't like the military, he doesn't like the troops, he doesn't like a strong defense, he doesn't like Bush, he doesn't "remember" whether he tossed his medals or not ...... in short, he's quite into himself and his own political ambitions and agendas, and it's apparent that what might be in America's best interests aren't of any concern to him.

It's not troop bashing, he is saying an ill educated country will always be at war, he is also saying that Bush's stupidity is the reason the troops are in Iraq!
