I am writing one. It's about US Imperialism, called Evil Empire.
I think the writer before me is wrong. Anyone can come up with an idea, it takes a real writer to follow through. Even if ten people were writing about the same thing, they'd all come up with something different, if they had any imagination.

I'd really love to write a book about my grandmothers in the future. They were so different but the times they lived in made them so much alike. Neither drove, spoke much, or worked. One grandma was an alchoholic and the other a pentecostal. If someone wants to steal it that'd be fine just let me know when the book is out so I can read what you came up with.

Strange of you to ask, tonight a friend told me he's been working on a semi autobiographical book which focuses exclusively on his life with us friends as a f*uck up (that's how he put it), and there are characters with definite personality traits of all of our friends, the whole lot of us, actually. For example, he takes something strange or unusual that happended to any of us (fist-fights, sex with strangers, etc., -the most shocking stuff- in reality, we are most of the time a quiet lets-just-stay-home-tonight bunch) and exaggerates it, exploiting the most prominent details of otherwise veridical events. This is why I said SEMI autobiographical. Names are changed, I think, but I am not sure, he wasn't too clear on that aspect.
I'd write a book about the utter impossibility of things, things that need getting done, things that require complete involvement and absolute liberty, -I do realize how tacky that sounds- but it would most definitely be nothing philosophical/cartesian though. Catch my drift there....? I intend to explain everything while purposely avoiding to use the key words pertinent to the subject itself, thus forcing myself -cornering myself, almost- into a particular use of language, all put forth in a rush of seething, purposeful and, why not, self-serving poise.
To give you another hint, I would have it sold on the 'Sociology' shelf at bookstores.
Bye bye.

I would write about how sad it is that America, even tho it is one of the riches countries, refuses to help those who truly need it, such as people with mental health issues, medical problems, and no insurance. When they try to apply for Social Security Disability they are refused. I know someone who applied who had no legs, but the government told him since he had his arms, he could work. That is extremely intollerable.

Elves and other mythological characters. I don't really know why, but they just completely fascinate me.
