I don't think so. Most people will see this as a desperate attempt by the Republicans to deflect attention away from their unpopular and unjust war.

Anything Kerry said pales in comparison to sending innocent young men and women to die in an unjust war.

Are you really stupid enough to think that John Kerry is intelligent enough to even come up with a statement as lame as he did?

Get real. Bush is a graduate of Yale; not exactly the easiest school to get a degree from. He was a very successful businessman in both oil and as the owner of a pro baseball team. He took a considerable hit in the pocket book to hold the office of governor of Texas, and then the Presidency.

Kerry's claim to fame, and the only reason anyone ever heard of him is he was fortunate enough to marry the beast of a broad known as "the ketchup queen." If he had run for an office anywhere but Massachusetts (where they continually elect drunk idiot murderers like Ted Kennedy), he couldn't have made it as dog catcher.

Look at the facts.

Enlisted Troops: Many HS grads
President: Yale University Grad

Enlisted Troops: Many "stuck" in Iraq

The question is, Is Kerry that stupid to make a comment like that about Bush, knowing it sounds so much like he's talking about the troops?

Well, we do it too sometimes. There are plenty of times when we'll roll our eyes and say "Oh, Karl Rove planned that," when it's quite obvious that it is just a coincidence that proves unhappy for our side. Still, it's important that we insert ourselves into their noise machine. All I would say to these folks is, "It'd be a lot easier for you if that's what happened and that was actually the sentiment behind it. But it's not. So can we talk about it without making assumptions?"

The answer might be no, but at least you've said something. And if enogh somethings get said, we might just make an impression.

Did you actually listen to Kerry's whole speech? I did. Those who say he was referring to Bush are taking Kerry's word for it and have not done their homework. He really did call our troupes stupid and he does need to apologize big time. Kerry has done other insulting things to our brave troupes and their families. He is paying big bucks to have people go to the grave sites of soldiers killed in Iraq to recruit them in their moment of grieving to join a massive anti war protest designed to further his political agenda. So why wouldn't you expect him to say what he said today.

Nice spin attempt.

I'm assuming you did not hear his quote directly, and that you are just going by what the liberal spin doctors told you.

How could he be talking about Bush? Bush received higher grades than Kerry did at the same University!!!!!

He was talking about the troops, no doubt in my mind. He disprespected the military in vietnam, and is still disrespecting it today.

Please tell me you're not stupid enough to make excuses for him after you actually heard him say it. I don't care how much he doesn't like Bush or WANTED to insult the President's intelligence. (Which, btw, he got lower marks at Yale than Bush did.) He STILL insulted the troops intelligence, not Bush's. Please tell me you're just kidding--you can't be that stupid. (Of course, I don't really know you, do I?)
