You do not need to label yourself or put yourself in a box. I would suggest you read and learn everything you can about several different religions, everything from christian, jew, Islam, to buddhist, wicca, native religions, atheism, deism, everything from every possible angle, both positive and negative. That way you can make an objective choice as to what you really most closely identify with. And even after all that it's still your choice not to label yourself in any particular way. This is something that may take years and years to uncover. You may find what's right for you very soon. You may change over your lifetime. It's a journey, and asking this question is the first step.

You don't have to pick a religion. You can figure out what you believe in, in your time and just believe that. You don't have to label what you believe.

IThere are some cool books that you can get from the library that are a easy read and see if any of them fit you. They are written by Thubten Chodron. They have each religion and its "for beginners"
Its a small book and gives an overview of each religion

Alot of people are confused about religion. Alot don't go to church yet still believe in God and the Bible. You don't have to classify yourself with a religion to still believe and be a faithfull follower. You should use your resources though. If you feel like you need to belong to a particular religion, study some, their histories and ethics. When you feel you've found one you've connected with, then go with that one. Don't feel pressured-take your time until you're comfortable with your decision.

You just need to ask God to come into your heart and help you through this time of having to choose. But it doesn't matter what religion you are, if you believe in God and follow him the way you should, that's all that matters.

Just sit down and think what religion best fits you. What belief you think is right and figure it out. Religons are pretty difficult to pick so chose wisely and carefully!
