over watering is # 1 killer of Ive.water once a week ,giving it just enough water to get to the next week.spray it as well with a spray bottle to give it a good cleaning and a little green-house effect,to keep off the creepy crawlers.fill up an old milk jug and mix your plant food,it will be ready when you are.put under a light or moderate lit window. Good luck!

Ivy plants require moderate watering. Try a self watering pot (I believe they carry some at WalMart that are rather inexpensive) or a pot with a saucer to ensure it doesn't drown. Give the plant enough water so it drains, but then do not water again until the soil is dry.

As far as sunlight, they require very little light and do well with fluroscent lights.

Try some liquid fertilizer and use that once every two weeks or so. Plants love fertilizer and usually flourish.

Lastly, plants love to be talked to. Try giving it a name, you will be surprised at the results. :) (And no, I'm not crazy!)

Probably over watering! Wait until the dirt dries a bit before adding more water.
