I'm anti-Yankee, so Vernon Wells. Jason Giambi is not the player he used to be. Must be the steroids.

Vernon Wells, it's not even a fair comparison. Wells is an all around player, Giambi is a one dimensional player.

Vernon Wells in a heartbeat. Few reasons:

1.) Jason Giambi is an admitted fraud and he shouldnt even be allowed to play ever again IMO, Pete Rose never cheated and he's banned for life despite having the most hits in MLB history but this guy can knowingly cheat for many many years and its ok??? No...

2.) Vernon Wells is much much younger, and his hitting has evolved into a solid all around hitter. Power, average, all fields, clutch, and to top it off he has very good speed.

3.) Wells actually has to play defense (a real position not 1B) and he is damn good in CF. You have to choose a guy who can get it done on both sides of the ball, defense is just as important as hitting but its always underrated.

I would pick Vernom Wells because he is younger and plays better defense. There is also the fact that he is payed less than Giambi.

Vernon Wells by a land-slide..He plays the field very well, he's a consistent hitter, and he hits not only for power but for average too..And he's not on the juice
