try www.craigslist.com and click on the state & city nearest you.
it's a great site for getting rid of stuff (and buying stuff!) I use it all the time.

If yo have one the local newspapers which cover several counties you would do better. Not only would more locals see your ad but you could look in it and see the comparisons as I am sure yo can find may Dryer/washer combos for sale. Right now you can at sales but new washer/dryer combinations at places like lowes, or home deport, and soemtimes sears for under 600, at times the cheap one sat 500 for both.
BUt check other prices for comparable units like yours so you'll know what to ask for.
Be prepaired to let them go cheap for a quick sale.

Try Craigslist - www.craigslist.org. It's free, it's fast and pretty easy, and there are different lists for different parts of the country.
