No, you shouldn't need to wake him up for any reason. As long as he's getting 4-6 feedings during the day, there's no need to feed him in the middle of the night. In fact, your son is doing everything right: all babies have the capacity to sleep 10-12 hours a night by the time they're 12 weeks old. You've obviously taught him good sleep habits and now you are reaping the benefits.
As for changing his diaper, there's no need unless he leaks in the middle of the night - and if that happens, trust me, he'll wake you up to tell you! If leaks are a common problem for him, you can use a larger diaper for nighttime.

Let him sleep. My 6 month old sleeps for about 12 hours straight each night. I never wake him. I do however set my alarm for about 5 am each day and get up and pump. It helps with the pressure and I have a great milk supply built up in the freezer!

10 hours is a long time for a six month old to sleep. But I might have to say that I wasn't that lucky to have a little one sleep through the night till after 6 or 7 months. If your baby is gaining weight and is happy and healthy he should be fine. IF you are really concerned talk to your dr.

it,s really not uncommon for a 6 month old to sleep 10 hours through the night. actually babies should sleep a 12 hours through the night not counting their nappies. don't be alarmed i have twin daughters and from day one my girls have went down to sleep at 8pm and wake up at 9am and 19 months they still do the same thing and my doctors have always told me thats okay they need their sleep cause thats when they grow and not to worry other moms are very jealous of our kids trust me.

No, not at 6 months old. I'd be jumping for joy! None of mine ever slept that long at that age!
If he poops or his diaper is so wet that it is going to leak, then you should change him. Just a little wet isn't a big deal unless he has very sensitive skin. Keep the lights low/off and be really quiet and maybe you can do it without disturbing him too much.

My LO had began to sleep in the process the nighttime on his very own at approximately 5 a million/2 months. Then in basic terms after he grew to become 6 months he began with 2 nighttime wakings. The long and the wanting that's that there is a advance spurt in basic terms approximately that factor, which in my case led to him to desire greater milk. Then too, i began him on solids and he did no longer take as plenty milk in the process the day with the aid of fact perhaps the solids filled him. The foodstuff at this age remains from the milk no longer the solids. in certainty, I progressively greater desirable his intake of milk in the process the day. His nighttime wakings went all the way down to a minimum of one and now maximum nights he sleeps by using as quickly as lower back even nonetheless perhaps as quickly as a week or so he would get up as quickly as in the process the nighttime. uncertain if this would paintings on your LO in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's properly worth a attempt.

At 6 months old he should not need to be woken up to eat, so let him sleep! And I would either use a size up diaper or overnight diaper to make sure the absorbancy is good enough that it won't leak. You shouldn't need to wake him to change a diaper unless it's dirty as opposed to just wet.

No. If your baby isn't waking hungry, I don't think you need to wake him/her. If your getting engorged, you may need to pump in the middle of the night. I would give anything if my 4 month old was sleeping through the night!!!!

No. I don't think you need to do this as long as he is at a healthy weight. My son is the same age and I let him go longer without a bottle. I think that at this age your baby would let you know if he was hungry.
