I never considered it rude, but have learned that it is considered to be shouting. I don't buy that, i do use it to make a clear point. If it emphasises the word i want you to take notice of that's fine in my book. Even if someone writes a whole question in caps i don't even really notice. It's not really a big deal i don't think.

Annoying, sometimes rude. DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION. He he... There's actually no need for the use of all capital letters. You can always use '!'. Besides, one can't be that mad, right? Except when your best friends DECIDED TO LAUGH THE LOUDEST AT YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT INSTEAD OF BACKING YOU UP!!!!! When you're in a situation such as that and want to express it in words, you may use all capital.

no I don't find it rude but I wouldn't use all capital letters because I would not want someone to think I was talking to on line that I was YELLING at them. I'm not a rude person. :o) lol

No, I don't -- especially when you consider the fact that on here we can't use bold or italics. ALL CAPS are just a way to emphasize the key points in a sentence on here.

No because some people can't see well. When my vision gets bad from MS I use all caps for e-mail. My mom always types in all caps because she can see it better.
