John Kerry degrades and humiliates miltary personnel, and Charlie Rangel calls VP Cheney a S.O.B. Where is the dignity, ethics and humility?
And these are the people who would like to regain their political power next week. Will we allow this?

I'm a Dem. Does that make me a liberal? No I find Kerry's remarks sick. I draw a line between the top ranking gov. and the troops who try to protect us at home. A big difference. I don't know how anyone can defend Kerry. The Dem gave the last election away. Dem. lost, and it was their own fault, for putting the idiot up, in the first place. Mr. B is fighting a war for the rich, and taking all the jobs oversees. That's his thing. Our troops are trying to protect us at home. Kerry did not make a distinction between the two. He's an idiot. Slamming our troops, to stab at Bush. No I'll never back the fool.

I don't think that was what his out of context remark was intended to convey. The neocon feeding frenzy is sort of amusing to watch, for a while.

Kerry put his foot in his mouth, no argument. So that's one for Kerry, and how many hundred for Bush?

Unlike Bush, Kerry is a combat veteran, so I'm sure his comment, which I have only seen out of context, was not intended to insult troops serving in Iraq. As for an apology, if he feels he insulted the troops, he will apologize, if as I took it he meant that if you are an uninformed voter you will end up with cheerleaders like Bush sending you overseas to die he probably will not. If Bush is insulted, good, he deserves to be in prison, not just insulted.

Kerry said, "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Liberals are now claiming he was talking about President Bush.
Nowhere did he mention the name of President Bush. His insult was directed just at our nrave troops.

He never did apologize. Republicans need to realize that liberals hate the military. If we allow Congress to be overtaken by the Democrats, we will surely see this war underfunded and our brave troops left without the tools to keep them safe or to win the war.

That's BS and you know it. Kerry is a combat veteran and war hero. He may have mispoken, but would never denegrate U.S. Troops. Bush is a coward hiding behind a desk, desperate to keep his party in power. He never saw combat but has no compunction about getting tens of thousands killed, including almost 3,000 brave American soldiers (so far).

Kerry tried to make a joke about Bush not going into combat, and flubbed the joke. Desperate Republicans, including Bush, have twisted his words into something he never said and never would say. Anything to get votes, no matter how dishonest, vile and reprehensible.

I myself am a disabled American veteran and deeply offended by this or any unjustified attack on a fellow veteran, particularly one decorated for valor in combat. Do you want to call me a coward too? How dare such a coward as Bush, or even John McCain, a hero of mine until he sold out to the torture lobby, attack a decorated war hero?

I'm not a big fan of Kerry and suspect there are other men and women (though not Bush!) who might make a better President, but he does not deserve this dispicable attack on his character.

And BRAVO! to poster Tom Collins, above!

I have a low opinion of our troops. They volunteered for an immoral illegal war (Iraq, not Afghanistan). At least during Viet Nam they had no choice, they were drafted.
Kerry's right. Everybody who volunteered for this war IS stupid for believing Bush and Cheney.
Bush and Cheney should be tried as war criminals.
3000 of our troops have died for a BIG BIG lie.
When the Liberals win next week, they will confiscate the Conservatives' guns and computers. The righteous Liberals will silence the voice of the un-American, un-patriotic Right Wing infidels. This will usher in a new era of peace and prosperity for America.

I fail to see any dignity in draft dodgers like Bush and Cheney lying about combat veterans who fought for America.

Republican operatives have smeared men like John Kerry, Jim Webb, and John Murtha.

It's sad that anyone would call cowards like Bush and Cheney dignified and ethical.

Kerry's remarks have been twisted beyond recognition. He was saying negative things about the stumblebums that got us into the war, not the people fighting, but Karl Rove's crew managed to find a few words that could be misinterpreted. This is just more GOP dirty tricks.

He is talking about Bush and not the troops. But you GOPers are spinning it your own little way. Kerry served, Bush drank, never, ever forget that.
And you got a lot of nerve defending ol' "F*** you." Cheney. This man deserves no respect.

Senator Kerry has a low opinion of bush & his henchmen,
not our troops. Try paying attention to what he's saying,
instead of waiting for one word to launch an attack.

Dark Cheney - he can't even control his own diet, much less,
a country.
