Maybe I need to get the focus off of me and on to serving others. After all I am a Christian.

I think you may have answered your own question! When you transfer your thoughts to others, you open up a whole new world for yourself. I was offered jobs that led to the most fulfilling career of my life by first thinking of helping others and volunteering. So, begin there. Maybe start with teaching others to read who are illetrate. Or teach someone English. Or work at a food bank. Those are all great places to start.

Life is not lived through your career, your career is to make money-don't forget that. If you cant find something you like don't fret not many people do and religion has nothing to do with it either. Don't mention religion when you are applying for jobs they will think you gullible and not very intelligent. Don't think on it too much it's just work. Your standards are probably to high for the amount of effort you are putting into finding a good job nothing is free and good things come at a higher price-time, money, morals.
