Yes it is true...just look at reality tv.

Oh yeah! And even just little, piddling amounts of money. Like, people will drive to six or seven stores, just to save five cents on a can of beans -- and use up not only their precious time, but their gas money. Or a family will get into a fight over a loan, and wind up not talking to each other.
People who make movies will sometimes make decisions not based on what's right creatively, but on what they think will bring more audience members (ie: more money) to the show. This happens in a lot of creative endeavours.
Or, someone will decide to go into a business that they don't really like, but provides a lot of money, instead of a job they love that doesn't pay very well. This is silly, because if you love the job, it doesn't really feel like work. But if you have a bad job that keeps you so busy that you don't have time to enjoy your money, it feels like eternity! What's the point?
Money is necessary. It buys us the things we really need, like food and shelter. But, it isn't everything. And some people make the mistake that it can buy everything we need and want. That's when they start to do stupid things.

I think they do stupid things because of the want or need of money--In the name of money?? That's probably worse if they have it and find ways to cheat people out of it.

I'm afraid that's true. I mean, would you normally lay in a coffin with bugs for 5 dollars? No, but if someone said 5,000 you'll be like yeah I might. This world is getting sad

You are so right...look at a lot of the reality shows like Fear Factor...but then I have seen a lot of people do some stupid things WITH their money like blow it on drugs...sad sad sad

Wow, I'm surprised by all the negativity...this is all that is right with our world today. I paid my sister 20$ to eat the most hideous bug...it was totally worth it! I love reality TV.
