If you are a broker / agent n playing with ur clients money, u can make a living by charging them fees ..
trading or "day trading" is a quick n attractive way but doesnt always end up making people rich, u can sure make some little bucks out of it .
investing should be long term with a specific goal - paying mortgage / kids education / retirement ..
Hope that helps ..

Yes and No. But most likely No. In the 1920s and again in the 1990s, they did a survey on the success rate of traders and in both occassions they ended up with the same results. 8 out of 10 people lost a ton of money trading in stock, shares and currency.

Nope, I say this as a lic trader and know that the most people who choose to make a living trading will fail. Less than 10% of those who attempt will be successful. If you're trading someone elses money like me then you should give it a shot if not you'll just lose all your money.

You can do it if you know what you are doing. I work in CBOT building in Chicago, and a lot of people there just live on those.
If you really want to try it. Here is the thing when you start
1. Do it with YOUR money, not other people's, so you can learn
2. Love your money, and don't love the money you didn't make.
3. before you trade, you have a plan, including when you enter, and when you exit
4. follow your plan
5. follow your plan even if you losing
6. follow your plan even if you winning
7. don't drool if you see an "opportunity" you didn't get in
8. review your plan and result at the end.
9. follow your plan
10. follow your plan.

Lots of luck. Whatever money you can possibly make, you must deduct the value of a good nights sleep.
