There are a number of reasons that you could be feeling tired. One of the main causes of fatigue is stress. Others include lack of nutrients. Maybe you should start taking a multi-vitiamin. This also could be a greater promblem such as a serious illness. I remember when I was a senior in high school I used to come straight home from school and go to sleep until the next morning. My family was worried about me so they sent me to the doctor. He said that it was stress. He just told me that it will pass on its own. As soon as I graduated I was forced into the real world. Now Im lucky to even get 5 hrs of sleep. If you take a multi vitiamin and it still continues I would go to the dr. He will have the best answer for you. I hope I could help!

There could be quite a few reasons. Most people are actually tired because of being dehydrated, especially in the afternoon and evening. Try drinking more water and cutting all caffeine out of your diet. A lot of women also have problems with anemia from iron deficiency. You can take iron supplements. (This suggestion is only for women.) Aside from not sleeping well, those would be my best guesses. Whatever the cause, you could also try taking a vitamin B complex supplement. I worked for a doctor for a while and people would come in for injections of this and it would improve their mood, energy level, and help prevent mental fatigue, too. Look for a "complex" or vitamin that has multiple types of B included for the best results. Good luck.

there are numerous reasons why this could be. Lack of physical activity had the same effect on me. I would get home from work and just want to sit on my ***, but I finally forced myself to start working out at least five days a week and I feel feel younger and lost over thirty pounds to boot!!! My energy level is generally back to close to what I was six/seven years ago.

Do you consume a lot of caffiene? You might be getting that crash. Are you sure you are sleeping well? Alcohol kills your sleep if you didn't know that.

Eat better, stay active as possible and if nothing gets better you might want to see a doctor.

Could just be a growth spurt! Teens actually need more sleep sometimes than elementary and middle school kids, but we assume that little kids need the most and that's a done deal.
Could be you're just eating too many carns, like some kids I went to school with.
If this doesn't end soon, ask your folks to get you to a doctor. Your hormonal systems might be lagging behind a bit, or something to that effect.
It's great that you're seeking the answer.
Good luck!

Hi I am Subha and maybe the reason why your getting tired is because you are not taking enough vitamins maybe. On the other hand maybe school homework is a bit of a load or even disturbance of sleep anyway just check on these I may be wrong anyway hope you'll be fine soon.

its cause you sleep to much. try getting out more after school. exercise 3 times a week and get your heart rate up to about 120 for 30 mins. the more you get your heart rate up the more your body wants to move, witch means MORE ENERGY!! YEAHHH!!! EAT!!! people eat to get energy. if you dont have any energy then you get tired. but dont eat to much cause the left over calories will turn into fat. oh if you dont know what a calories is.....it is a form of energy. 1 burned calorie can heat 1 gallon of water 1 degree. so there is something physical not just made up. doctors recomend 2000 calories per day, but that does depend on your activity during the day. more or less depending on what you do in a day. any left over calories, you body convertts them into celulose, and then stores it in fat cells for later. so in closing work out, eat, and sleep 6 hours a day.

The last time this happened to me I didn't know what was up either. It lasted about 3 weeks and then it was time for my gynecology appt. I found out that I was 4 weeks pregnant! You should take a prenancy test. It could also be due to excess stress. If it doesn't let up, I would call a doctor! Good Luck!!

You might be anemic. Or you may just need to get some exercise. One other suggestion would be stress or depression...Also, when you do sleep, you're not getting the sleep you need. What I mean by this is, you may not be getting into a deep enough sleep. You might ought to seek a doctor if this continues. Good luck!
