I don't understand how poeople get the separation of church and state out of the 1st Amendment when it clearly reads this.

*Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof*

how can prayer in school or the 10 commandments be a violation of that one sentence. it is what it is and it says what it says- simple and clear- I think the ACLU just wants to make things difficult.

The Only ones that the ACLU wants to have rights are CRIMINALS. The ACLU simply LOVES criminals and Criminals Love them Alas the Name: All Criminals Love Us. or you could go with there Alias: All Christians Leave USA. or my personal favorite @ss Clown Liberation Union.

Your childrens right to an education without religion is important too. What you teach your children about religion is what they need to know, if the school does it how do you know what they are teaching them about it. The right of all children christian, buddist, taoist, atheist, muslim, et all: to go to school and not be told what religion they have to be but to brought into their religion by their parents as is the parents right and responsibility.

what rights are you talking about? They just dont want to mix religon and school, I mean, lets say your Christian ( i dont know, im making an example) and you come to school and the prayer is Arabic, would you be confortable being forced to recite the arabic prayer?

You're obsessed, but NOT with the spell check function on Answers, I'm afraid. Or grammar rules for that matter.

... first off... any kid can pray... that's the law... PERIOD...

and second... if they grant those rights to your child... they have to grant them to everyone... do you want pictures of Mohamed everywhere in the school too?
