Try spraying a bit of hair spray on the spot and rubbing it off.

Just removed ink from the dryer this morning! Soak a few old rags in clorox & water (I use terry rags) and wring a little of out. Place in dryer and run the dryer. In less than 30 minutes, my dryer was clean! Very easy!

So you put a pen in the dryer. So did I!

I used varsol ( paint thinner) and it removed it from the drum ok. Be sure you air it out and leave it open for a couple of hours before using it. Good luck its not a fun job.

The thing that i have found that works for getting marker or ink off hard surfaces is Lysol. I work in child care and the kids color on the table with markers all the time and the Lysol gets it off every time.

Get yourself alot of alcohol and a rag. Rub every spot in your dryer with alcohol and a clean rag. It should come off. Next your clothes take your clothes piece by piece and rub alcohol on them and it is a long battle but it should come off your dryer and clothes..Good Luck!
