Or do you just step in it? Or walk over it like it was never there? How do you get thru the bull**** in life?

Peaches, you're right. Life is full of **** but one always must clean up the crap. Otherwise you leave behind a clutter of pellets that sooner or later become huge piles that engulf you for an eternity. You can step in it and wallow in it, but you'll still need to take that bath and clean it up so that it doesn't grow on you, molding you into a piece of crap. You can walk over it like it was never there and when you do that, sometimes, it loses track of you...but that crap finds its way back unless you really do clean it up and get rid of it. You get through the bull**** in life by picking it up and chucking it or burying it - whatever it takes, get rid of it! Get ou that super size can of RAID specially formulated for life's bull**** that comes skipping down the road. Stop it in its tracks!

The thing is - if you have the positive attitude that you won't let crap get the best of you - it won't. So far, you sound like you know how to deal with it! :)

try wallowing in it til you're 40, like i did. bad choices, bad relationships, 2 bad marriages, and the list goes on and on. I finally decided I've had enough, but it's difficult overcoming faulty thought processes. I know I didn't answer your question but I know where you're coming from. Good luck.

all of the above. you step in it, fall in it, occasionally manage to avoid it. and what gets you through is knowing you have a destination so why be deterred. you can acknowledge it and react but don't let it hold you back.
