light spotting is not unusual at this point. If it gets heavy or continues, you NEED to get in to see the doc..

Remember you really should seek the advice of a medical professional if you are concerned. We can only throw out our opinions, and why mess around with your life and the life of your baby? In either case, I do believe it is normal to spot just a bit during the first trimester....

Light spotting early on isn't a bad sign typically. I do not believe lifting a 12 pack would cause you to have the spotting. But I'm not the dr.

I heard that some spotting is normal, but I don't know I never did with both of mine. You are still very early in your pregnacy so I would take it easy and call your doctor to see what they think just to be on the safe side. Most doctors offices have a 24 hour answering service.

I'm 6 weeks, and just noticed spotting (mine is brownish) on Sunday. I notice mine mostly during wiping, like you. I contacted my doctor and they had me come in to check everything out. It could be normal, it could not be. It's hard to say. I say check with your doctor. They did an internal ultrasound on me today to make sure the baby was still alive. So far so good. Good luck with yours.

If it continues or gets worse get in touch with the Dr. and no more lifting. Please. It's around the time you could be getting a period so it may be that. I had a liget period with my 2nd one.
