Why are the undead priest and undead warlock chosen as the most powerful class for PVP and raids? I need the 101 on this and so do future WoW noobs who would like to know about it. Ok so the undead warlock has a racial ability to be immune to fear and other control spells and so he has 100k+ health if he is spec'd full blown demonology...so what about an Orc warlock?...is he really spec'd to be a warrior? ( I am a Orc Warlock lvl 44 :P) I might have missed something about this between then and now. Also what makes a undead priest more powerful than let's say a Troll priest? Cannabalism?...hmmm...come on guys I would really like to be enlightened. Thanks to all in advance for answering this question and any answer is a good answer :) .

Mainly because the undead have many useful racials like:
Will of the Forsaken
Instant
2 min. Cooldown
When activated cancels all fear and charm effects and resists them for 5 sec.

and also Cannabilize which is pretty much like a bandage + it has a cool animation
orcs...well...if you like the stun resist then...
otherwise i would say undead

EDIT:
I see you said "Ok so the undead warlock has a racial ability to be immune to fear"

all undeads have an ability to be immune
but orc would probably be better for shaman, hunter, warrior

It's not racial abilities that make one race a better class than other races, It's the racial stats, Undead stats are already geared toward magic (like the Gnomes) while Orc stats lean towards attacking, Tauren stats - defense, and Trolls are supposed to be a balance. And adding the racial stats to the stats of the class makes certain races better at certain classes. E.G. Night Elves racial boost to agility + agility stats of the Rouge class, makes them more evasive than say an orc rouge of the same level, with the same equipment.

So it's all about what races are geared for what stats.

Other than the initial stat bonus (which isn't *that* significant), it mostly comes down to the fear, as far as PvP goes. Priests and warlocks can do the fear/dot/fear dance, and with will of the forsaken, they are less susceptible to it.
