Well, first of all, people usually go to Christmas parties later in the year, and Halloween parties now...but...theirs nothing saying that there is a certain age that you have to stop trick or treating at. Im 16, and friends of mine still go trick or treating....now they usually dont have very honorable intentions while their doing it, but none the less, they do. Theres really nothing wrong with going trick or treating....its free candy!!! Just take some friends with you...that way it will be like a party, while getting candy!!

Got trick treating & have fun. The parties should be talked over with the parents. At 13 you need to be very carefully the type of parties & where. Listen to your folks they know best.

You mean Halloween parties?
Anyway, thirteen is right on the verge. If you put some work into a nice costume then you should go trick or treating. If you just threw sometthing togetehr beccause you want the candy, then don't go. People who give out candy usually feel better about giving candy to older kids if they look like they have Halloween spirit. Whatever you choose to do, have fun!

Why not do it all?

Host a scary Halloween Party the weekend before the big day, go trick-or-treating with your friends (for a couple more years) on Halloween....

....and then go to your Christmas parties in late November/early December.

Better yet, why not have a "Christmas In July" party and a costume dance party on New Year's Eve. Throw the whole seasons on their head. :D

It's always a good day to celebrate. :)

When I was 13 I was still trick or treating. And when I was 17 I was still trick or treating.

Why does it have to be either or? As a dedicated party animal, I'd go to as many parties as possible throughout the year: Hallowe'en, Homecoming, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's, Easter (egg hunts), April Fool's, May Day, Graduation, Fourth of July....and any excuse before, after or in between. (Don't forget birthdays!)
Party on, dude!

Just do both. Oh, and age should not be your deciding factor it's not like that really matters and 13 is still young. It's whatever you think is fun that matters

Happy Halloween or Christmas whatever
