by changing it that means some poor guy may have flunked a test some time back by not listing Pluto as one of the planets,and now he could have gotten an A .

It really mess' up things in the education system for students who have previously learned the dynamics of the planet system. Although, it does give us a new outlook on planets. It was really just a waist of time, money and effort. All the school books will have to be changed in order to give one item some significance.
