I maintain all payments towards the upkeep of the family home, however she has has changed the locks, will not allow me the keys to my Harley motorbike, maintains that I cannot remove it or my musical instruments from the family home as she needs them for her protection! She will not entertain dialgue on any level, it is her way or no way, she says she will sell all the items including my clothing, without my consent and against my wishes because she has posession, it is her entitlement, she says. Someone please help! Due to geography I am having difficulty finding a solicitor to take the case.

Time to tell your lawyer and then he can tell the judge. Make sure you're honest about everything. Good luck.

This the first stage of the break up, but it may not last that way. Your gonna have to make a decision logically and yes you can remove some items that belong to you she cannot stop that when your escorted by Police to get what you want.

Maybe you should try consulting the local police to find out your rights. She is basically stealing from you. Maybe you can press charges. If you are paying for the home without being ordered to by the court, I would think that gives you the right to enter it. Call a locksmith and have them let you in.

Call the police, that is what I would do, she can not keep all of your personal items. They should allow you access to gather as much as you can in a certain amount of time. What did you do to make her so angry? I would get my stuff and stop paying the bills let her pay them herself. Good luck and God bless

I would go to the sherrifs dept and tell them that you would like an escort to get your personal items. And if she pitches a fit, tantrem etc, then you will have a great witness, and a police reports to help you move further.

Call the police. Your items are yours. She has no claim over them. That means you can have your clothing and everything that belonged to you before your marriage whether she wants you to have them or not.

She can not sell your stuff and if that house she has changed the locks on is in your name and there is no court order, call the police.

go to the house with the police but first have them call and say your coming cause if they are not there she can claim anything like "he hit me"
this being if you did nothing wrong most will think you did so you should claify more what happened
