Perhaps the first thing to be said is there is no sure way. If there was, everyone would be rich.
You may be tempted to gamble, to back a horse, buy a lottery ticket, visit a casino. But that rarely works when one is desperate.
If I were you, I would ask a best friend or favourite relative for a loan, guaranteeing to repay at the going rate of interest, over the next year or whatever.
Failing that, you might approach your bank manager for a formal loan?
If you own your flat/house you might consider a mortgage?
You may wish to sell a valuable possession?
Whichever way you choose, I wish you luck, but remember there is no easy, risk-free way to make two thousand pounds in two weeks.

£2000 in two weeks will not be easy. A proper loan would be best. Why are you in such a situation i wonder?
You could write a list of everyone you know who might lend you some money - anything from £5 to £500 and go round asking them, but you still might not end up with the money.
Someone suggested car boots, but you need stock for that so unless you have a houseful of unwanted items, it is going to be difficult.
You could pawn jewellery if you've got any, but even that won't bring you in a lot.
Don;t try gambling - you are bound to lose.

I assume that this question isn't really a jokey begging letter.
One method is to go around charity shops telling them you do car boot sales and ask the manager if he/she could give you bulk buy discount. These days electrical items aren't really valued by charity shops because they have to be checked by an electrician. You could ask the manager to keep any electrical item that is offered for you.
I hope you like getting up early at weekends because some car boots start at 6am. Oh and do your carboot with a friend who can look after the stall. Because when you first get there and you have set up you can then go round the other stalls to look for bargains to sell on.Happy hunting
