This is quite common for some and absolutely rare for others. Relax, unless you are having traumatic dreams then there isn't much to do about it.
My daughter and I both have these dreams. My most memorable one was a helicopter crash. I had indicators of how I would know when it was going to happen by events in the dream, then when those indicators appeared from my dream in my real life, I knew to watch the news. Weird, yes unsettling yes, but could I do anything about it, no! I heard on the news that night that there had been a helicopter crash in Niagara Falls. (years ago)
My daughter has de ja vu, but she also sees the "future flash" which she knows is the glimpse into the future of seeing this. She can tell me when she has one and then she can tell me when the second half comes as a de ja vu. We generally don't tell non-believers of these things because they think your touched in the head. But we are both very well thankyou. I would be interested to hear your stories.

Dreams are the mind's way of working trough problems. It is possible for the unconscious to realize that something might happen and start working on plans to deal with the problem. When it does happen, the mind know how to deal with it.

Yep, it does happen. For example, when I was younger, I had this toybox, a big wooden one. Well, I always hoped that whenever I was looking in it the lid wouldn't fall on me because it would definitely hurt. And what do you know! The lid finally fell on me! Twice, I believe.

I certainly believe that it is possible. I think it also helps explain some of the deja vu people experience.
