I had my last period on sept 23 so now it has been 39 days & before I go buy a pg test I am wondering if antibiotics would cause me to be late. About 2 weeks ago I was getting really moody & had cramps so I thought it would come but still hasn't. Any help appreciated

Any medication will reduce the effectiveness of birth control. You should of spoken to the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics. If you have never been late before, you should take a pregnancy test. Being a few days late is normal. Being two weeks late is not.

Antibiotics won't make you miss your period, BUT they counter act any birth control pills you are taking. The pharmacy should tell all women that antibiotics will make you BC pills useless. Good Luck.

Since you are already eleven or so days late, you really need to take a pregnancy test asap. You have some decisions to make that have time constraints if you are pregnant, and if you aren't pregnant and your period is this late, you may need to see your gyn to make sure all is okay.
