Despite what others have said here, there is an ancient Egyptian word for a shadow (of a person or other object). The word for shadow is Shuyt (pronounced like English shoo-eet, as far as we can tell pronunciation now). I can get the actual glyphs of the word if that's important. Post again with a way to send you that if you want to see them :)

No body speaks ancient egyptian any more. The language is dead, Arabic is the official language at present in Egypt and I honestly do not think anyone can help you with this question.
