My 2004 ipod is jammed and won't restore?

I have tried just about anything a sensible person would do, I have treid charging and it wont, I hae tried al the trick in the apple website but they don't wor. Anybody experienced the same and what did you do?

ive had lots of problems with my 2004 ipod since then! n everytime ive had a prob ive taken it back 2 an apple store. they do some stuff on it and if they cant get it to work either they'll give me another one! and this has happened about three times since ive gotten it. so id suggest taking it there and see wut theyll do for you!
