My wife stored her milk for all 4 kids and I can't ever remember having that problem , if theres a problem of diarrha rule out the other causes . and make sure your storage containers and pump is kept clean . If you are doing this at work it will help keep your milk supply going . also she frooze it a couple of times to have a reserve .

Not true. I went back to work when my second was 8 weeks. I pumped and stored without problem.

It will not give the baby diarrhea. That is just a myth. A breastfeeding baby's stools will look loose and have a yellowish color with mustard seed like deposits. If you have questions contact your doctor or a lactation consultant. Often family members give misleading information due to their lack of knowledge. Don't worry your mother in law ment well. Good luck with your baby.

Your MIL is nuts. Odds are she comes from an era where breastfeeding wasn't the norm, and that makes pumping and storing milk even "weirder" to her.

If you can't be with baby, leave pumped milk. It is the best thing for your little one.

No, freezing breast milk will not give your baby diarrhea. I've been freezing my breasmilk since my baby was born, and I've never had a problem with her getting diarrhea from that
