There is no need for formalized pharmacy tech education. The pharmacy will teach you all you need to know. You will not be able to recoup the cost.

I recently became certified after attending a vocational school. I did complete an externship that only lasted a month and it took me 2 months after that to get a job. Come to find put all you have to do is BUY this book: MOSBY's REVIEW for the PTCB exam. This book could have saved me $11,000 in tuition to and it has ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW, After you pass the test you can just volunteer for a month or 2 and then you'll have the experience. ITS THAT EASY. I learned the hard way. TAKE MY ADVICE DON'T PAY THOSE SCHOOLS! Just study the book.
