The only way that I could see picking a yes or no question as best answer is if that is the only answer you have. I try and expand on things so many times I wind up being like 7 or 8 down the line even tho there may not be any answers when I first start to answer. I figure if you take the time and make it a good answer it is better than just saying yes or no.
Me I look for the person who has best answered the question and also at the attitude of the person. I really like a positive attitude as well as a good answer. That is my answer and I'm stickin to it! LOL

If they are similar, chances are one is better then the others. But if they are all yes/no, take the first one to answer, or if you dont pick a best answer, and no one votes for a best answer you get your five points back.

If the answers are all the same or similar then I pick the one that says something more or different. If they are all exactly the same, I pick the one that said it first.

If it looks like no one put any effort into the question or everyone mostly gave short 1 word answers, don't give the best answer to anyone. Best answers are only deserved by people who put effort into their answers, and not just to get the two points.

If you only expect a one word answer from your question , then I usually go with whoever was the first to answer. It's up to you.
