Yeah, some of us have long lasting and over all in general happy marriages. Ours took alot of work and alot of patience for both of us. It's been worth the effort for us. We have hit 18 years and I know that it's been the best for me and I've been really lucky. But, like I said, it's not easy, takes alot of hard work sometimes and a few times we each thought we'd never make it. But we got thru and I'm happier now than I have been in my life. Hang in there - find the right person who is willing to work as hard as you are and be faithful. It's worth it!

Yes long lasting love exists today. It is called commitment from the day you get married. Love grows, you need to get rid of some weeds once in a while and nurture the relationship but talking about true feelings in a graceful, meek manner,so that tempers do not fly, but see your problems and work them out! I have been married for 33 years! It has not been a bed of roses at times. However, the saying states, True Love Never Runs Smoothe! Yes, From day one, my love has grown for the man I married, and we are still in LOVE!

Yes it does exist. We have been married for 18 years now. It hasn't always been easy, but we made a commitment to each other and worked through the difficult times. I think we are more in love today than when we married!

Yes. I’ve been married 17 years. The marriage is strong and healthy and happy. There have certainly been rough patches along the way (and some of them were VERY rough), but we worked through them and emerged stronger as a result.

Yes, Captain, it does very much exist. If the love of my life hadn't been killed, we would still be together and planned to stay that way for the rest of our lives. We were still very much in love, after 10 years of blissful marriage. I love him still. I don't know what the real problem is in your relationship, but I wish you all the best luck.

I'm not married but we've been together 12 years. I still wait for the sound of his car in the driveway coming home from work. I still meet him for lunch at work, and he still rubs my feet when I get off work and opens car doors for me.
