you are right. America Ferrara is very pretty. I mean, she is right for the part, because she is a wonderful actress. But, as for the part of her being "ugly", she is not a great choice. The glasses and everything suggest ugliness, but, even when she wears that she is still not bad at all. I mean, she looks better then the girl who plays her sister. She looks like-and act like-a f'ucking whore with her tight clothing and the way she walks around as if her s'hit don't stink. Really. And, besides, this shows suggest that regular looking "pretty" people are still considered ugly to those fashionistas with Botox up in their faces and a nasty attitude. People like them make regular "pretty" people like Betty feel like they are "ugly" compared to them.

They had to really try to make her look ugly but shes still pretty and in the end, you can tell she's pretty. I have a feeling theyll have an episode where theyll be all *takes of braces and glasses* O_O oh wow shes beautiful..

I think she is a very beautiful actress. And I feel she is representing us well as a hispanic. She is setting a good example because she isn't trying to fit in the hollywood size.
