cyclohexandiol. Would you expect these compounds to be separable by TLC? Why
or why not?

The cis conformation is more stable. Draw the chair conformation to see why. Separable by TLC? I don't think so. They have same polarity.

I would expect them to be separable because they are not enantiomers of each other (they are not chiral twins) and therefore do not share identical physical properties.
