The last trick-treating was around age 14 , and someone gave me Dimes, which isn't too weird, but what did you get that was weirder?

I got that too one time..a little sandwich bag full of change..i guess i was supposed to go to the store and buy my own candy

I had a trick or treater, a three year old, give me a treat in return (roasted homeade seasoned pumpkin seeds), say Happy Halloween and THank you. Weirdest thing ever and cutest. Mom doing a great job with that one. He is eloquent, not a puppet or mimic.

One year a Lady gave everyone Office Supplies & we found out she was a retired teacher. That was on the wierd side for 1968 trick or treats.

Sweetie,i am too old for trick or treating,unfortunately.However,i did treat myself to a piece of candy from the treats i was giving.I didnt receive,or give anything too weird.Dimes,thats pretty neat,lol.Have a good evening hun.Happy Halloween!

I was about 13 or 14 and one guy ran out of candy and gave me a pack of cigarettes. I guess he saw me smoking a cigarette just before I walked up to the house. I had just started smoking and thought smoking was "cool" (what an idiot I was).
It was weird, but my friends and I were happy.

Gift certificate to a restaurant that had been closed about 2 years. (This was a LONG time ago, I was 12, so close to 40 years ago!) I still remember looking at that and going huh?
