I'm buying a 1 yr old aquarium that is in use right?

now, i want to make it a salt water tank, is there anything special i need to do, like cycle it for so long with salt in it, or anything else before i put fish in it.

Yeah it will... i think it takes a week to build a salt water tank but i'm not 100% sure.

It'll have to go through a whole new cycle. The bacteria for SW is different then FW. I suggest doing a lot of research before starting.
