Rob Zombie is actually in the process of doing a remake/prequel of Halloween set for release Oct 2007. I have heard it wont really be what happens after resurrection, but rather jump around the series timeline and have that Rob Zombie flair. Too bad suicide bombers killed Moustapha Akkad (the Halloween series producer) he won't be around to help out.

I've heard about Rob Zombie doing a prequl/remake of the original Halloween. As far as making another one in the sequence, I don't think so. Jamie Lee was killed in the Halloween Ressurection, and without her character, I dont see how the story could go on. Michael was after her, so he has no point in another movie.
